Both of these birds were seen between 8 and 9 am Sat May 24. The wheatear in the parking lot in front of flag pole area of VA Hospital and the red headed woodpecker among the trees on the side of Kendall Station road opposite the river just down from railroad crossing and yellow house as previously described. The woodpecker was calling so it was possible to track down among the birch leaves. M
