Yesterday had one Tom Turkey eating under the feeders. While he was still there we had a flyin of 6 Turkeys to the south side of the yard under the apple tree near the pond.
I believe there were 5 F and 1 Tom. The feeder male did walk down and join the flock. One F even flew up into the apple tree for some lingering apples. After a while they all left together into the woods nearby. Nice show.
Had a good sighting of one M Pine Grosbeak that came to the feeder yeaterda afternoon. Nice pink head and chest.
Wish I had gotten a picture.
This AM I noticed a Piliated Woodpecker at the base on one of my evergreens. He found something there to eat and stayed for a while.
