A run upriver from Wilder Dam to Pompy Flats this afternoon yielded
single winter-plumaged adult Bonaparte's Gulls at the dam (others later
found 2 birds there) and at the Pompy Farms oxbow. Other noteworthy
birds included 7 Green-winged Teal at the oxbow, 4 American Wigeon at
Ledyard Bridge, 2 Common Goldeneye off the Ompompanoosuc rivermouth, and
scattered Bufflehead and Ring-necked Ducks.
