Every 10 years or so, when all the ducks line up, we get out the canoe and
paddle.
The Army Corps has been holding back massive amounts of water this past
week, so there is high water behind the Union Village dam.
There is a website that shows the elevations.
Yesterday afternoon, Lelia, Myles and self drove toThetford Ctr and down
toward the "Mystery Trail". Gated.
Carried canoe not even as far as the second gate. Yoicks.
We paddled for 1.5 hours. We were so high over the Mystery Trail bridge we
could not see it.
4 wood Ducks
6 Hooded Mergs
4 Mallards
1 Osprey with something in talons.
