We are very proud to announce that we are the expectant grandparents of 3 maybe today 4 baby Killdeers. After several years hiatus we have a nest, at least one I found. Many of you viewed the Killdeer in the field in front of the stand. Yes, they have settled in, well really scratched in and there are three eggs! While viewing the Killdeer at birding physical distance, I saw a brownish bird, an American Pipit, breeding adult.
That’s the exciting news here at the farm. One hummer is practically living in the greenhouses. We have to evict him at night.
Please feel free to visit and bird. There are over 100 acres of varied habitat.
