The Friends of Lyme Library will be hosting an evening program on
Thursday April 15, 2010 at 7pm at the Converse Free Library.

Chris Martin, NH Audubon Senior Biologist, will present a program on the
recovery of Peregrine Falcons in New Hampshire (which includes the
success at Holts Ledge by the Dartmouth Skiway).

Chris has worked as a wildlife biologist for NH Audubon for more than
20 years, focusing on monitoring and management
of the state's endangered and threatened birds of prey, such as
peregrine falcons, bald eagles, and ospreys, under a contract with the
NH Fish & Game Department. He trains and supervises an enthusiastic
corps of volunteer observers who assist with these projects.
The peregrine has recently been reclassified to threatened from
endangered on New Hampshire's T&E list because of progress towards
full recovery.

Please join us.
