My quick call this morning based on what looked like a redhead in poor light and at a distance proved wrong. The Lake Fairlee bird is a scaup. My apologies to anyone who gave up their morning for a redhead chase. But if you did, I'd love to get your opinion about which scaup. One bad call is enough for me today.
