From the railroad tracks a bit south of East Thetford, I scoped a Northern Shoveler and a Gadwall among approximately 250 Mallards on the NH side in Lyme. I believe that is where Hewes Brook empties into the River. Also a few Canada Geese and American Black Ducks. Earlier I had 5 Hooded Merganser pairs at Kendall St. Rd.
