We saw what looked very much like a Bicknell's Thrush in the yard
this evening. We have seen Bicknell's three times before in the
woods around our house, twice in the Fall, once in the Spring
(Calling). We were able to study the bird for over 10 minutes and
the field marks certainly lined up. It didn't call and seemed quite
nervous, not straying far from the bushes. We have been hearing
Hermits lately, but the bird didn't fit the bill.

Also seen were a Blackburnian, Yellow-rumped, Black-throated Green,
Rose-breasted Grosbeak, a pair of Purple FInches, and two
Broad-wings. WPs are going nuts, with Pileateds and No. Flickers
raising a racket. We still have our Pine Siskins at the feeders.

I got a hummingbird report from a friend in Athens, VT. He had one
at his feeder last week.
