Been hanging around the homestead this weekend in Thetford here. 37 species
in dooryard.

Highlights:

5 warblers: CSWa, BAWW, CoYe, BTBW, OVEN

Brown Creeper, Pileated,  Alder Fly, Great-crested, White-thr Sp, Chipping,
Song, Indigo Bunt, Veery, Hermit,

 nesting Bluebirds, Gray Cat, Balt Oriole, RBGrosb, Am Woodcock, Red-t Hawk,
TUVU, YB Saps.

 

Butterfliesat home: May 29   Co Ringlet, Mourning Cloak, Can-t Swalowtail ,
Black Swallowt, Spring Azure, Am Copper, Hobomok Skipper, Juvenal's
Duskywing

 

Drove from Canaan to Thetord yest am: Will and I birded from the car, with
windows down: 49 species. Did stop at Thet Hill marsh for a Bittern and GC
Fly, and good look at EWPeewee.

 

Ah, spring !
