While walking outside about 1:40 today I heard a lot of noise in the trees. There were a lot of blackbirds there - several hundreds or more, though the most I saw flying at one time was around a hundred. When I went to grab my binoculars the group moved a couple hundred yards up the road. I followed them and they hung out for a while near the intersection of tigertown and mitchell brook roads (west norwich). They sort of sounded like rusty blackbirds, though I am not on expert on that bird I didn’t see either brown or green on their heads, and while I went to get a camera they all moved away and I couldn’t find them again.
