Highlights of a loop from Hanover to Lyme, Thetford and back were:

28 Bohemian Waxwings at Kendal just sitting

Pair of Hooded Merganser in the river and unidentified hawk along Rt. 10

Killdeer and Song Sparrow at Post Pond

TV and Great Blue Heron at Pompy

Hoodeds and Canadas at Ledyard Bridge

50+ Bohemian Waxwings at Main and Wheelock in the center of Hanover.

Those Bohemians were still there at 1:45 when I left. They would sit high
in the trees for 15 minutes then feed on the ground 5-10 feet away for 30
seconds for multiple cycles.
