Despite the rain, we persevered and managed to find a few good waterbirds along the western portion of Mink Brook, including nice views of Wood Ducks, Ring-necked Ducks, Hooded and Common Mergansers, and a lone Greater Yellowlegs. Thoroughly soaked, we decided not to venture to the Mink Brook Nature Preserve. A big thank you to George Clark and participants Peter, Carol and Lindsay.
