Spring surprise, small flock (6-8) juncos here and they are singing.  And chasing each other.  I realize we have missed the sound of songbirds!  Also 2 song sparrows, very early for our yard.  Not singing.  

Got lucky and saw a brown creeper today.  I wonder if they are winter residents here, data not clear.  Bears must be coming, it’s so warm.  Last year around now, they took down our plastic sap jugs.
