This PM had to stop along George Pond. A mother duck was crossing the road with two tiny ducklings following behind. I can only hope they are able to grow up.
Saw a GB Heron standing on the large rock in George Pond this AM.
The evening duet continues with two Wood Thrush. Several days ago about 1 PM I was treated to the solo flute sounds of a Hermit Thrush.
My pond lillies are blooming. I have had as many as 14 pink blooms at a time.
The 40 carp have spawn. Small fish can be seen along the edge of the pond.
