While walking to work this morning I was distracted by a Great Blue Heron as it rose into the air above the enlarged mud flats by Ledyard Bridge. Watching it soar I saw 2 ENORMOUS birds come into the scene, male and female Bald Eagles!! The three soared in large circles for several minutes, like a ballet, and eventually the heron landed, followed by the eagles. What a sight, made my day!
