About 11:20 this morning along Campbell Flats Road in Norwich, VT, Ed
Hack and I observed a flock of about 45 Wild Turkeys foraging over
bare ground on the large farm located by the right angle bend in the
road where there is a northward view of Union Village Dam. It was
impressive to see so many birds together and to think of them as
survivors of the snow and cold of the past winter.
