We have a flock of about 25 goldfinches, 8-10 chickadees, 10-12 purple
finches , 2-3 Tufted Titmice, Several Hairy and Downy woodpeckers, and
today, an American Tree Sparrow and our first Evening Grosbeak at our
feeders on Tigertown Rd. in Norwich. Saw Wild Turkeys a few days ago-
about 6-7 of them. Today on Beaver Meadow Rd. a Raven preening who was
joined by another. The first Raven made a rattling sound and the second
put it's beak inside the first's, as if feeding it, I suppose. Last
week caught 2 Pileated Woodpeckers in the cemetery in Quechee. Saw
three raptors last week along rt. 91 between White River Jct. and
Windsor. See them often there. Immature Eagles, perhaps. Wish I could
stop and look. Got photos of some of the above -will post sometime.

Is it time to worry about bears?
