A hardy group of 9 birders gathered at the Wilder Dam this morning for 
our first monthly outing of the 2011 County Birding Quest.  Highlights 
included great views of a Bald Eagle flying north towards Wilder 
village, 11 Common Mergansers on the river, 2 Snow Buntings at extremely 
close range below the dam, and a Carolina Wren along Passumpsic Ave.
