First timer here, wanted to let you folks know I saw 6 "Ibis" flying at the Bailey's Eddy in Newbury, Vt. yesterday, I say Ibis since they had the downward turned beaks and I assume they were not Storks. Have seen the Cranes there as well in the past but in all my years on the river, never seen any Ibis. I have been told they were likely Glossy Ibis. Can't say on color, they were against the grey sky and I focused on the downward turned beaks. I'm an old retired warden so I have seen a few critters in my time.
