I spent a little while at the Wilder Boat launch mid-morning today.   
There was a Surf Scoter there - the only duck around - and it was an  
adult female.  The first Surf Scoter I have seen since leaving  
Massachusetts!  There was also a very yippy small dog and four other  
people.
