Ah so sweet..  At 7:30 last evening (here in Thetford)  I went outside with
hopes.

 

And there was reward.....  our season first:  "peent"  !!    several and
then the aerial courtship display .

 

 Am Woodcock                  (life is good)

 

Heard a Brown Creeper singing its sweet, rich song this morning:
"seta-a-weeta-weeteoo"   starts like their call note. (to me)
