Rob,

In the early 80s, there were two wheatears in Vershire, on a hilltop meadow off McGiver Road. I believe it was a fall record. If you care to track it down further, the birds were on the property of Joan Waltermire, long-time curator of exhibits at the Montshire, and John Douglas.
