A little over a month ago, on my 32nd birthday we decided to a rescue a two y.o. sato from Puerto Rico after a few years of no dogs. She is an absolute pleasure, and while I enjoy the morning walks with her for MANY reasons, I confess, she is a terrible bird watcher. Nonetheless we saw two loons(!), heard a very vocal ruby crowned kinglet, a belted kingfisher flying near the pond, field sparrows singing and one seen, and a palm warbler came into perfect view.
