We had one in Lyme yesterday too-- and a goshawk the day before.  Only the
goshawk was successful.

Unusual winter birds at our place [either unusual for our place or this time of
the year]:  one male red bellied woodpecker, one male white throated sparrow,
one starling, and more than 50 cedar and Bohemian waxwings.
