On Sunday evening in Thetford, ~9PM my wife and I heard a ruckus high in a
tree next to our house, and thought it might be the resident ravens getting
'frisky'. The noise making fell to the forest floor and I voyeuristically
ran in to grab a flashlight - I was a bit shocked when I saw a Barred Owl
perched on top of a struggling raven. I am hoping that it might have been a
transient crow, as we have enjoyed the ravens and their brood over the last
couple years.
