Today on the lawn of the VA Hospital I spied 2 Kildeer.  They were  feasting 
on bugs and worms just a few feet from  a very busy RT. 5.  I  pulled over to 
watch them and then photographed them for about 30 minutes.   I was so busy 
with the camera that I failed to notice 2 Hartford PD  cruisers that had pulled 
up....police  were very concerned as to why I  was photographing the VA ( a 
federal building after all!).  Kudos to the PD  for checking and keeping us safe 
...and I got some great shots...had not seen  Kildeer before today.
