I heard one a few days ago when I was walking on Ballard Trail in Norwich
next to the Charles brown brook, about half a mile from the Norwich pool,
at mid-day. Heard one several occasions on my own property near an area of
moving water that is too small to call a stream or brook. I think that he
was just dropping by because I don't hear him regularly.
