Saturday mid-afternoon returning home from Windsor VT to Plainfield NH I caught site of a Great Blue Heron in the northern end of the Blow-Me-Down Mill Pond. I went home, grabbed a camera and drove back down to find --

5 Great Blue Herons - some still, some flapping and chasing.
2 Belted Kingfishers zipping around and diving
A pair of Wood Ducks swimming peacefully amidst the ruckus!
