Had an up close view of one hopping around a lilac bush this afternoon, west end of Woodstock village.  It abuts a wooded hillside with a lot of conifers (pines, hemlocks and spruces.)

Beautiful golden crown.  I don't think I've ever actually seen one this well, usually they're identified by the call.
