Around 9:00 this morning, an adult bald eagle eating a freshly-caught 4-foot
American eel on the VT shorline of the CT River across from stateline Sports. A
couple of curious crows were hanging around.

The eagle held the eel by the head, and hopped north along the muddy bank when
my boys and I reappeared on the bridge for a closer look.
