Stopped at Cumberland Farms in Fairlee yesterday morning (Sunday, Oct
25) - and my daughter and I heard a peregrine falcon by the cliffs.
We spent 10 minutes or so watching a pair fly and perch around the
cliffs; Some of the best viewing I've had with just a pair of
binoculars. I thought the falcons would have migrated by now; guess I
need to learn more about peregrine falcon migration patterns.

A stop at Post Pond on the way home yielded a lone Bufflehead.
