This is a reminder that from 10 AM to Noon on Saturday February 11, 2017, Mascoma Chapter of New Hampshire Audubon is holding its annual eagle watch at Wilder Dam. We'll look for Bald Eagles and any other birds in the vicinity of Wilder Dam. This free event is open to the public.  Bring binoculars and spotting scopes if available. Come and go at any time during the watch. Dress warmly for cool conditions. 

Road Instructions: From Exit 12 off I-91 in Wilder, VT, turn east toward Route 5. On reaching Route 5 (Hartford Avenue), turn left. Continue (northward) to the fourth right, turning onto Depot Street. Take the next left (onto Norwich Avenue) and then an immediate right turn to go over the bridge to Passumpsic Avenue. At Psssumpsic Avenue turn right toward Wilder Dam. You can park in the first parking lot on the right (entrance at a break in the guard rail) and then walk downhill to the viewing area around the parking lot nearest the dam. Alternatively, drive directly to that last lot where you can park if spaces remain.
