We have a new feathered friend, a Northern Bobwhite. It has been on the farm for several months. It is quite tame. A few days ago it popped out between some tall flowers and walked under my “Gator”. I had to gently coax it out.
Presently, it is whistling “bobwhite” out our window. It sings intermittently all day long, well into the evening. It seems lonely, but that might just be my imagination.
