I reported, sadly, by mistake, seeing a Great Horned Owl in Norwich,
Tigertown Rd. on April 18. Sorry- no owl.

Hooded Merganser (2 pairs) are still here though, 4 Canada Geese , 2 seen
sitting on top of a beaver lodge and a Yellow-rumped Warbler as well as
Phoebe and Great Blue Heron at the beaver pond. Frogs are deafening! Saw a
hawk there also (yesterday)- have (bad) photo- can't i.d. yet. At home,
Phoebe, first songs from the Hermit Thrush, goldfinch males (3-4) getting
golder every day, and a flock of 8-9 Evening Grosbeaks making a lot of
noise. Hepatica ready to bloom as well as Trout Lily.
