While putting away my snow shovel (not too early now!), I flushed a 
Carolina Wren from inside my garage. She flew out a broken window that I 
have yet to fix. The nest is on a wall on a stud near the roof. It has 5 
chicks with closed eyes. Smart bird using the inside of a building in 
this environment. No wonder they are expanding northward.
