Thought it might be worth mentioning that while we've been enjoying watching the turkeys scratch under our feeders, we had one fly into our big picture window, and completely shatter it, double pane, all over our living room. This was one week ago today. We weren't home at the time, but there were turkey feathers on the sofa, and our turkeys have been doing more flying than walking lately. We were lucky that we didn't find a turkey IN our house ... It must have either flown back out or never actually got all the way inside. The cats are still traumatized.
