2/4/07 around 3:30 PM, viewed from parking lot below Visitor's Center on VT side:  Mature flying when we arrived, settled on NH side, visible perching in pine tree.  Immature flew upriver 10 minutes later and was seen circling on the NH side, headed off as we left.

And thanks to Mark Krenitsky for getting his scope back out a week ago aat the very end of the eagle watch time frame and sharing the great view of the perching eagle with my two kids and my parents; they really appreciated your enthusiasm and all the information you shared.
