After you open a Word document in NWP, apply the Tools:Track changes:Track Changes menu. This will make editing history of the document viewable in the Track Changes pane.

Yes it is. Just keep the Track Changes menu on and when your document is ready to be sent, export it as a Microsoft Word Format (binary) document (from the File:Export As... menu).
