With the free program “Find Any File” you can find any file quickly
and reliably, also hidden files and files that Spotlight does not
find, e.g. those inside bundles and packages and inside folders that
are usually excluded from Spotlight search (i.e. system files). No
indexing is required. The results are shown in an hierarchical view,
and it is fast. I find it much better than “EasyFind” from
DEVONtechnologies which is also free but is much slower and does not
show you the results in an hierarchical view.
