Actually, it was tornadoes, not hurricanes. Tornadoes are much more
localized and not restricted to coastal areas. North Carolina got
absolutely hammered by them. Last night it was our turn in the St. Louis
area in Missouri and Illinois. I don't know of any deaths or serious
injuries, but it was scary for a while. There were tornadoes reported in
all parts of the area.
