I am working on two manuscripts that my editor has sent me in Word format.

The manuscripts have been edited by other people and I can see all the changes that have already been made. If I add anything, my changes appear as mine.

Two questions:

Is it possible to open the editing history of a Word document in Nisus?

Is it possible for me to edit the ms in Nisus in a way that my editor can see my  changes in Word?

I am finding Word nightmarish and I dislike having to learn how to do things in Word when I know how to do them in Nisus.
