Ah, I know. A while ago I planned to get VueScan, not for my Canon scanner but for a film scanner for which no Snow Leopard driver is available. Some months ago, my enthusiasm for film cameras revived all of sudden, after 20 years or so. Then, I tried to get a decent film scanner (Nikon or Konica-Minolta) but alas, secondhand articles of those models turned out to be very rare and too pricey even in not a good condition.

I'm a bad photographer but what is good with a camera is that, though on very rare occasions, I happen to take a nice picture -- looking nice to me, I mean -- accidentally and contingently ;-)
