What you're seeing, then, is Nisus' way of saying that the font 
specified is not available, and it's substituting a font. If you go into 
the NWP preferences, Appearance tab, you'll see a box at bottom left. 
Choose Marked Text, and then you'll see Font missing and Font 
substituted. For each of these, you can turn off that highlighting by 
selecting the Hide this highlighting checkbox. Once that's done, you 
should have no more of the orange background.
