Thanks for this information, Bob, I will do that.

Randy Singer is on 20 Mac related lists—that's what he keeps saying—so I guess he must be on the MacLaw listesrv list too.

He may be well intentioned, but he is unfair in his argumentation. He keeps saying: "Only Word, for the Mac, has all of the advanced features that an attorney needs, such as document comparison, tables of authorities, collaboration, etc." He has been told that this is not true; we all know that NWP has Track Changes and can very easily compare two documents (with the macro "Compare Documents"). He is basically unwilling to accept arguments that go against his prejudice. Instead of examining the arguments put in favor of NWP, he does two things: (1) He repeats his false argument(s) and (2) then he lays out one new argument and attributes it to his opponent. Then he refutes it! This type of conversation is frustrating.

The MacSupportCentral list used to have around 3,000 members; it's the larges Mac group I know. It's amazing that among this large number of people nobody seems to know or use NWP.

I believe one reason for this ignorance can be attributed to Nisus Software. It seems they don't know how to sell the product. There is not a single video from them on YouTube! There is no good macro tutorial available, which is particularly deplorable, because the macro feature is the best part of NWP (beside the Find and Replace capability and the glossaries).

The Nisus community is also not active enough. Nobody has put a short video on YouTube to show newbies what Nisus can do. We also need TEMPLATES to show newbies how to write appealing business letters, class assignments, theses and dissertations (with styles and different types of fancy tables). We, the old hands, do not need these templates, but they are invaluable help for beginners and potential buyers. I know there are quite a few free MS Word templates on the Net that can be used in NWP too; but it would be better if there were templates available that could show newbies the strength of NWP directly.

I know, there is a template repository on the Nisus forum, but it's (almost) empty, if I remember right, and nobody seems to care.
