I'm still on OS 10.4.11 on an 800 MHz iMac...

I tried the newest TypeIt4Me a month or two ago, and found it looked
nice and had some nice features and generally felt fun. However, I
also found out it messes with the clip board, and it warned that on
slower systems it may not expand properly, putting the clipboard
contents instead of the expansion. The remedy was an option that I
think ended out leaving the expansion in the clipboard or some such
thing. Anyhow, that turned me right off, as I use PTHPasteboard to
keep a clipboard history, which has become essential to me, and am
not willing to have the clipboard contents play musical chairs behind
my back. :-)

(Apple really should have implemented a clipboard history and manager
long ago. But I guess too much attention goes to iPhones, iPods, and
that thing that should have been named iSlate. :-)
