Hello Tim
NWP -> Preferences -> Languages
Mark the main language you're using to the left - fx. 'English (U.S.)'
(and afterwards others if needed).
In the upper part to the right you select the main languages,
dictionaries and spelling etc..
Beneith you have some font settings like 'Secondary Font'. If never set,
the button will be with dimmed letters. Click the button and select the
substitution font in the font list in the separate window on the desktop.
It could fx. be
- Document font: Georgia, secondary font: Cambria
- Document font: Arial, secondary font: ArialUnicodeMS.ttf
- Document font: Times, secondary font: Times New Roman
etc.etc...
In 'Switch Font' set it to 'Switch To Secondary Font', do check the box
'Also Switch Font Size'.
The last choice - 'Switch Keyboard' must be set to 'Switch To Chosen
Keyboard'. And the dropdown menu with the flag+language must be set to
your main language.
These settings can be set individually for each language. - A bit
complicated, but it normally works with any TT, .ttf, PS, OTF and .ott
font...
One place where I do know it won't work is with AFM based PS
(postscript) fonts. This affects some older Adobe PS fonts like the
Adobe Times PS, Adobe Garamind PS, Adobe Optima PS, Adobe Baskeville PS
etc..
