But it seems each piece of the OR statements needs a NOT (!)  
something like this:
	(?<!\.|!\.’|!\n)\n
But don't expect more from me.  This discovery is as more chance than  
knowledge on my part! :-)

With a sample text, Kino would surely not have missed this one! :-)
