You misunderstand. In order to *open* the Activity window you still use command+option+A like always. Once the window has been opened you must select the file as demonstrated on this screen shot:

The question is now: Is a double click on the file in the Activity window ENOUGH? Or do you *additionally* need to press the Option key while you double click. Option key or no option key, that is here the question.
The really strange thing is: In my main User Account A I need to press the Option key (otherwise NOTHING will be downloaded); however in my new, fresh User Account B I don’t need to press the Option key. That’s really strange, isn’t it?
