Yes, this /is/ possible if you're working with fixed table sizes, but
mine can vary from only 12 rows to more than 10.000. And it isnot
possible to split one big table consisting of 2-3 columns into more
rows. - I have tried..-( - So as answered to Heinz I've decided to make
smaller tables with only 500 rows each but still in the same document.

For making invoices I used to use Filemaker Pro when I had my own
company. - I.e. everyting was made in FMP at that time such as customer
base, account managing, spreadsheet, stock base, so it was easy to
combine anything if needed... - OK, at that time FMP was far much easier
to use than now... the newer FMP do indeed have rather steep learning
curves...
